Immerse yourself in one of Bhutan's most treasured religious celebrations during the Nimalung Tshechu, a vibrant three-day festival held at Nimalung Lhakhang in Chumey Valley, Bumthang. Renowned for its spectacular mask dances, sacred rituals and grand religious ceremonies, the festival commemorates Guru Rinpoche's triumph over negative forces and the spread of Buddhism throughout the valley.

The festival's highlight is the unveiling of a magnificent Thongdrel, a giant sacred appliqué of Guru Rinpoche displayed before sunrise on the final day. It is believed that viewing the Thongdrel brings blessings and spiritual merit.

Beyond the festival, this carefully crafted journey explores Bhutan's ancient monasteries, majestic dzongs, picturesque valleys and iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery, offering an unforgettable blend of culture, spirituality and natural beauty.
