Escape into one of Bhutan's most breathtaking trekking adventures on the Dagala Thousand Lakes Trek, a journey through pristine alpine meadows, crystal-clear mountain lakes and panoramic Himalayan landscapes. Often regarded as one of Bhutan's most scenic treks, this moderate adventure leads you across remote mountain passes, yak-herding camps and tranquil high-altitude valleys, where dozens of glacial lakes shimmer beneath snow-capped peaks. On clear days, you'll enjoy magnificent views of Mount Jomolhari, Kanchenjunga, and the surrounding Himalayan range. The trek covers approximately 35–40 km and is best enjoyed during spring (April–June) and autumn (September–mid-November).
Before and after the trek, explore the cultural highlights of Thimphu and Paro, including Bhutan's iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery, creating the perfect blend of adventure, culture and natural beauty.
